Festive Dinner and Disco
Party nights in the Chesham Suite on Friday 4, Saturday 5, Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Saturday 19 December. Three courses, then dance.
Our Christmas party nights, in the Chesham Suite. Meet in the bar at 7pm, dinner is served prompt at 7.30pm, and the disco and bar run until 12.30am.

Starters: avocado and crab with melon, salmon roe and croutons; roasted parsnip and cranberry arancini with red cabbage puree; chicken, black pudding and leek terrine with crispy chicken skin and festive chutney.
Mains: roast crown of turkey with pork and cranberry stuffing, seasonal trimmings and turkey gravy; roasted beef striploin with Yorkshire pudding, seasonal trimmings and rich pan gravy; salmon en croûte with creamed leeks, crushed baby potatoes and crème fraîche parsley sauce; baked aubergine with green Puy lentils, hummus and roasted vine tomatoes.
Desserts: warm Christmas pudding with brandy sauce; Black Forest gateau; a selection of local cheese with crackers and grape chutney.

Christmas Day Carvery Lunch
A glass of Buck's Fizz in the bar, then a three course Christmas Day carvery in the Gallery Restaurant with turkey, West Country beef, pork, gammon, cod or crisp polenta.
Christmas Day lunch in the Gallery Restaurant, served from 12 noon until 1.30pm, with a glass of Buck's Fizz on arrival in the bar.

Starters: monkfish scampi with crab bisque and horseradish foam; tea smoked duck with caramelised pear, ricotta and fig; wild mushroom and walnut pâté with green olive and tarragon tapenade, crostini and cornichons.
Main course, from the carvery: roast crown of turkey, char grilled West Country beef striploin, crisp loin of pork, cranberry glazed gammon, baked cod loin with boulangère potato, chorizo, samphire and romesco sauce, or crisp polenta and rosemary with sautéed mushrooms, kale, cherry tomatoes and Jerusalem artichoke cream.
Desserts: traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and redcurrant compote; chocolate and orange mousse with charred mandarin, orange gel and vanilla Chantilly; a selection of local cheese with crackers and grape chutney.

Opening times over Christmas and New Year vary. The restaurant is closed on Christmas Day evening and New Year's Eve for private events. Please check with the hotel when booking.
